Casa Turano Parkside Pizzeria

I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and I've never been let down by the food. If you're a fan of mussels like I am, this is the only place to go. They serve generous portions of large mussels, unlike other places that give you a small serving that just doesn't compare. I personally know Mike, the owner, and he truly cares about his customers and ensures a great experience for everyone. Highly recommended!

This cozy pizza and sandwich spot on Broad Street in Bloomfield offers a comfortable dining experience. Their lunch prices are the most affordable I've encountered in the area (check out the partial menu photo). I ordered a personal cheese pizza for just $6, while sandwiches start at $5.50, and larger pizzas are priced just under $11. The dining area is inviting, featuring around 15 tables, a counter, and large windows overlooking Broad Street. The pizza itself was above average, particularly thanks to the quality of the sauce.

This is the best cauliflower pizza I've ever had, and I've tried at least eight different places in Bergen and Essex County. The sauce is simply delicious, and the crust has the perfect crispiness. Often, cauliflower crusts can be soggy or flimsy, but not this one! My boyfriend is also a big fan of the gluten-free pizza. We absolutely love this place!

I had a very good experience back in August of 2023 when I was staying with a buddy in Bloomfield when I flew from from St Louis, Missouri. I had a bacon pepperoni pizza with a side of wings. The food was amazing along with their customer servics. I will definitely come back in May of 2024.
