Kao Yiu Chinese under Eric has always provided the most beautiful tasting Chinese that I have ever tasted. Always friendly service and the meals are simply amazing. There Short Soup is the best I have ever tasted.

If its a really good meal and old fashion service you are looking for without all the bells and whistles then you have just found it. This restaurant is a little like going back in time and offers great quality and fresh food in what is sometimes a cray atmosphere with a huge amount of foot traffic on weekends. The owners are a delight and treat their customers like friends. I am always impressed with the taste whether it be the Mongolian Lamb, Sweet and Sour Pork or my favorite which is Sate Chicken its always consistent. BYO is an added bonus with a btl shop around the cnr.

Best Chinese food in the area definitely worth a trip if you close by. staff is happy and efficient. i have been coming here for years and their standards have always been high

We have been going to Kao Yiu Chinese Restaurant for over 20 years now. The food is great, the service is wonderful and it is owned by a lovely family. We hope Eric, the owner, never retires! We often go with family and/or friends. It is BYO and they don't charge a corkage fee. Also great for takeaway.
