Gaijin Sushi - Birmingham

Today is my 10th wedding anniversary, and my husband and I enjoyed an omakase meal here. The sushi and dishes were incredibly fresh and tender, all at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely unbelievable sushi. We sat at the chefs table and watched it being prepared-a lovely touch. The chef was able to explain each course of the Omakase, 10 in total. Each piece of sushi was crafted with a delicate balance of flavours. The depth was fantastic with some pieces having layer after layer of flavour. Truly wonderful food! We thought we would not be full but 10 courses was enough. We paired with Japanese beer and Sake..Support a great and amazing value restaurant, and do not miss out!

Excellent omakase experience with fantastic and attentive service. All the sushi dishes were well seasoned with a good variety, and the tea selection that they serve is good quality using whole leaves.

This was a fabulous dining experience. We sat at the counter watching the chefs beautifully prepare the delicious dishes, whilst describing each one as it was served to us. The waitress was very friendly knowledgeable about the menu. We cannot fault the place.
