Restaurant bewertenI cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, from the amazing front desk and valets, the amazing and wonderful bartender. My husband had brain surgery at UAB and the staff were so helpful to me and my Dog( Goober). They were so attentive to my needs and my husbands. We will be staying there again next month when my husband has another surgery.Walkability: I was able to walk back and forth from the hospital.Food drinks: Wonderful bartender and food was good
Did not enjoy my experience at all. Valet left my car running unlocked unattended as they followed me inside while I checked in to get my room number...unknown why they had to follow me at that moment to get it when they already had my identification and keys. Also they only had 2 elevators one with a sign that said to watch out for the gaping hole that didn 't work and another that took 5 minutes to be called. 3 minutes for the door to open. another 3 minutes for it to close and another 5 minutes before it moved....it is 2023. Y 'all need to get that updated and fixed. The straw was someone in their kitchen setting off the fire alarm at 7am which lasted a good 15 minutes. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights and only lasted one. It honestly was a very ghetto stay
Probably one of the worst hotels that I have stayed at in a LONG time.Location wise, its close to some good restaurants but the 5 Points area can be a bit sketchy REALLY LOUD too) and I was surprised each morning that my rental car wasn't broken into.Speaking of parking, the hotel uses a 3rd party valet that makes you pre pay $35/day) separately and can't bill directly to the room. I paid for one day of valet and then moved the car to a self park garage directly behind the hotel which is $25/day.Lets discuss the room, I stayed 3 nights and housekeeping didn't clean my room once! I alerted the front desk and they made a note to have my room cleaned the next day while I was out only to return to an uncleaned room. This is unacceptable. Also, the shower is gross and I could see moldy spots and discoloration plus the shower head was leaking all over the place. The building itself is historical which means the elevators are old and had to be repaired during my stay which resulted in hoofing it to the 4th floor for the first day I was there. The bar was out of everything however the bartender was very friendly and embarrassed about their wine selection and kept apologizing.Check out I booked and prepaid my room on Expedia and upon check out they tried billing to my credit card on file. Please be aware of this so you don't double pay.Net net, stay elsewhere. This is a IHG hotel and they should audit this property ASAP as it's hurting the Indigo Hotel brand.
This was a great place to stay. The room was nice and comfortable, and the staff was amazing. It's within walking distance of several restaurants, and the area was clean and seemed very safe.
The staff here was so pleasant and funny. My boyfriend and I travel a lot and sometimes we need a in city stay. We stayed the weekend downtown due to the Alabama Greek Picnic and this hotel was ideal. Everything about my suite was what I needed. One of my friends had air issues they were attentive and moved her room and belongings quickly and efficiently. I will definitely stay here again. Every single valet we encountered was awesome i didn’t get everyone’s names but Edwina, Sharykia, and Rick were just a few of the amazing employees at this location.
