Cedar House Cafeteria - Birmingham

Loved it! The decor is appropriate for a restaurant in a mostly industrial area, but the food was great and plentiful. A family-run place with great southern home style cooking, can't beat it! Lots of parking.

Good ol' Country Cookin'. As the name says, it's a cafeteria. I love going thru the line, getting a tray, and seeing all the different foods to choose from.

I eat here often. Had pork chops, greens and new potatoes today and it was delicious. Buffet style, great food every time and prices are reasonable.

Great food and atmosphere! While waiting for my trailer to be unloaded I bobtailed down to this Cafeteria. All food is Homemade!!! Had the biscuits and gravy, pork chops, grits and eggs. Fast and friendly service. This is a family owned business, so give them our support. Note new Hours. Tues thru Friday 6:30am 2:00pm. The do have take out or sit a while. Enjoy.

There is great service here and it shows because they've been there for so long! I love their pecan pie..It's just right to me. We got like 10 of them for Thanksgiving and sent them all around! They also have different kinds to pick from. The food is served cafeteria style so if you have time to sit down and just feel like you're a kid again, I highly recommend!
