Restaurant bewertenDrove 150+ miles to celebrate a friend's birthday. Big Ed's did not disappoint! We both had the same thought when we walked in. The atmosphere? Wall to wall people enjoying their dinner! Once we exclaimed Ober the beauty and aroma of our plates and took our first bites, we said nothing for several minutes as we were too busy eating. Mere words can not express... but I'll just say... Our prime rib was seasoned to absolute kiss kiss muah (my tongue accidentally slapped my forehead and i think i heard angels) and cooked to perfection! The sides are pretty basic (you don't go to Big Ed's for the sides) and flavored just right to accent the delicious beef. The servers were super friendly, and drinks were ice cold and refreshing. Going again in 2 weeks! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Slow Roasted Prime Rib
This place may be lil speck on the map in a lil blink of a town, but this place also has the best steaks you will buy at a restaurant for hundreds and hundreds of miles in either direction! Guaranteed to be worth your drive, your money, your taste buds, and you will be full!! The food actually tastes like it’s home cooked on a grill in the backyard and no matter how many years pass by or cooks that may come or go, the consistency has always remained!
