Restaurant bewertenWe try to avoid the big corporate restaurants and seek out the mom and pop restaurants. We came here for breakfast and happy that we did. When we walked in it was busy but luckily they had a table available for the three of us. We ordered the vegetarian omelette, house potatoes, biscuit and gravy, hash browns, and a short stack of pancakes. The food turned out very good and flavorful and there wasn't a long wait either. The service was spot on even despite the employees running around without a break.
The food was awsome!!! From the chicken pot pie to the pastrami sandwich, French toast, sausage. There was 4 adults and 5 kids we all finished our food. In fact on Monday before we left we ate there again. We didn't care if there was an hour and half wait!!
Took a chance as our first choice wasn't doing take out Sunday night. Looks like an old diner lots of charm and history. We just wanted a couple salads with some protein for dinner and they had a few options. Had one with salmon and the other with steak. Not expecting too much but honestly both were really good. We came back next day, tried something different and again really good! Staff both days were very friendly. They do only take cash which we had but if you don't they have an ATM. Parking lot has a few spaces or can park on street.
Eating was amazing! the coffee was excellent and I had no coffee for a long time. all cremers were on the table and I could choose from everything I wanted. the waitresses that we are very kind and friendly and often make sure we take care of them. a full plate of cookies and gravy was just $5.50 and the coffee was 3. the egg breakfast was really good and the cinnamon massbread was extremely savory. I recommend that the side of the acid cream with any skin they order, it is very good!
