Restaurant bewertenThe service was excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly. The atmosphere was peaceful and very enjoyable.
However, some aspects of the experience left something to be desired. For instance, the cappuccinos were served in the wrong cups, which negatively affected the taste. I had enjoyed a delicious cappuccino made with a new specialty coffee machine at a Marriott hotel just the night before. As for the drinks, a glass of Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut Champagne costs $32, not including tax and tip, which might be a bit steep for many patrons. Additionally, the appetizer was missing a sauce cup, but I chose not to bring it up. Overall, while the atmosphere is delightful, there are some hiccups in service and offerings that could use improvement.
The restaurant is connected to the pool, as you can see in the pictures. Just like the hotel, which has a distinctly old vibe, the dining area feels quite outdated as well, with wobbly tables. The hamburgers and sandwiches are decent, but they don't have the refined quality you would expect from a high-end hotel menu. However, the older staff member who served us was very friendly. It's nice that the place isn't too crowded.
I came here for breakfast and the service was incredibly slow, even though it was a quiet weekday morning. The food was disappointing and far from impressive. I received cold "sourdough" toast without any butter, the eggs were overcooked, and the oatmeal was mushy. Overall, the food quality reminded me of a low-grade diner. To top it off, the espresso was extremely bitter.
The staff were fantastic, and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating.
