Country Corner Diner - Bethany

I've been visiting this restaurant for the past 10 years, and I always look forward to dining there or picking up soup while watching my son play soccer. The food is fantastic, and the owners and staff are wonderful! I just wish I lived a bit closer.

A big shout out to Chef Moe for an incredible dinner tonight! I had the best homemade butternut squash soup I've ever tasted! The salmon florentine was also absolutely delicious. My husband couldn't stop talking about the homemade chicken pot pie. We adore coming here not only because the food is always exceptional, but also because the staff is so kind and accommodating. It’s always a wonderful experience!

I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, which cost me $15—$5 just for a small portion of fries. I asked for the burger to be cooked rare, but it came out medium-well. Temperature is important when it comes to cooking. The burger was greasy and definitely tasted frozen, so I didn't end up eating it. I understand that tastes vary from person to person, but I personally found it overpriced for what it was. After reading some previous comments, it seems that if you leave a negative review, you'll get a response insisting you're wrong, and I'm anticipating that kind of reply. However, I stand by my experience—it simply wasn't for me.

The family atmosphere created here makes you feel like your eating a home cooked meal. We love coming and seeing the staff and enjoying family meals here.
