I prefer that. Cupcakes are very humid! Frosting was creamy, tasteful and melted in your mouth. We also had the chocolate chip Keksteig cake with chocolate goose; it is chocolate perfection! I'm from the city that visits my family, and I can't wait to come back to try more of their baked goodness!
The only thing sweeter than those baked goods are the ladies they make! The Praline 'n cream frappe is absolutely delightful with whipped cream and crushed toffee bits. Edible cookie dough is a winner at each. Cupcakes are made by scratches with real butter cream freezing (not shortening). Pro Tip: The cupcakes are cooled because they are made with real butter and other perishable ingredients. Let them sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to soften the freezing (as actual butter will be hard when cold and soft at room temperature). The brownie, covered with Keksteig, covered with chocolate goose, is heavenly!!! The owners are an absolute pleasure to speak and they offer a discount for first answers that some Brownie points earned with me!
Kelsey made my cake for my baby shower, and she did such an extraordinary job, I wouldn't have asked for a better cake! The decorations on the cake were perfect, and matched my spatial theme perfectly. The cookies and cream taste was so delicious! She also made the dozen vanilla cupcakes you see in the pictures, and they were also delicious! All at the shower cries over the cake, and cupcakes and I couldn't be happier. I recommend Kelsey Cakes Boutique, she did a wonderful job! Thanks to Kelsey!!!
Phenomena! The store is welcoming and contemporary. The cupcakes are fun and our favorite is the lemon. The oat flakes are what Little Debbie dreams of producing when they grow up. Prices are very reasonable. We'll order cake soon.
We were told by a friend of ours in DC that if we were ever out this way, we had to stop in. I’ve been to many bakeries, but this one has won me over! They were giving out free mini cupcakes and champagne to celebrate their 1 year anniversary (this place is classy) so I decided to try one. I opted for the cupcake with pink frosting. I expected to enjoy it, but WOW. it was a mini cupcake so it was small in size, but it was without a doubt the best cupcake I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what they do to their frosting, but it’s the perfect amount of sweetness without being overly sweet like most frostings taste. Wish they had a location in the city or shipped their cupcakes, but we purchased a box of twelve to stick in the freezer for when the craving strikes!
