Restaurant bewertenThe dictionary defines Disappointing as failing to fulfill someone 's hopes or expectations. We define it when we think of the $55 dollars we spent for totally DISAPPOINTING [read disgusting] food. Celery and broccoli so hard it was a joke to even call it cooked or steamed. Meat was flavorless, zucchini so overcooked and the egg rolls are not even egg rolls they are flavorless tiny spring rolls. Dear Lord tell me that there are NO CHINESE people preparing this food. The plain white rice and cashew chicken was as un imaginative as you could possibly make a dinner. Tell me no Chinese people were instructing other Chinese people to cook Chinese food like this to serve to the unsuspecting public and pass it off as authentic Chinese food. IT WAS ALL TERRIBLE! FIFTY FIVE DOLLARS OF TERRIBLE! If I did not live 45 miles away i would have taken it back. Instead, I am going to tell everyone I know every week DO NOT GO TO YUMMY HOUSE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES/... They don 't care! WHERE has all the real Chinese food serve by REAL CHINESE gone?
This is such a cute little takeout shop. I went to asha tea house and ended up driving past this place. It gave me nostalgic vibes so I decided to turn around and stop by. The owner is so cute! She was super nice! She wanted us to try her food so she ended up giving us some samples to take home. I really loved the atmosphere here and can't wait to be back. If you're ever in this area, don't forget to try it out!
The lovely young women here serve great food at excellent prices out of their tiny little food stand, and they are very nice too. The chicken salad was great and the chicken was very flavorful, and I love the Tea Eggs ... a visual treat as well as very tasty. The chicken salad makes a filling and healthy meal for only $7, and the Tea Eggs are only $1 each. These are hard boiled eggs that have been marinated in tea and have a lovely aroma and taste as well as a very pretty crackled appearance when the eggshell is removed.
Yummy House is where Face to Face was. it's in the same small shack. menu has many similarities. addition of some rice plates (char siu, roast duck etc. and side dishes.. offerings: soups, noodles, sides, salads, bubble tea, rice plates, snackseats: beef tendon (10 steamed rice, 1/2 tea egg, green veggies comped?-everything tasted freshly made. beef tendons slightly spicy with the addition of chili flakes. braised tendons rendered into small chucks. chewy texture, flavor neutral. *fab value. take outs:-not every item on menu is available. since business has dropped off during the covid pandemic, owner limits amount of entrees she preps every day. -no dining area nearby.
