Restaurant bewertenI placed a simple order of boneless wings with fries. When the buzzer went off, I rushed over within 20 seconds, only to find that the fries were ice cold. I informed the staff, but they seemed completely clueless, looking at each other as if I was speaking a foreign language. They took the order back, manually removed the cold fries, and tossed in a fresh batch. I was stunned and asked if I could at least have my chicken now, since it had already been over 20 minutes and I didn't want it to get cold while waiting for the fries. Once again, they looked as if they were taken aback by my request. I made my way back to the table with my chicken, only to discover that it was barely warm. At that point, I thought, "Forget it." My friends, who wisely chose to eat at the other food trucks, were nearly finished with their meals. After another 10 minutes, the buzzer went off again, and I hoped for hot, fresh food (what a concept!). Unfortunately, the replacement fries were a mix of old and new, and still partially raw. I doubt anyone from Barrio will offer any explanation as to why this pair is running their food truck, and it has severely tarnished their reputation. With so many food truck options in Bend, unless I hear from the owners, I will continue to share my disappointing experience with this truck.
I enjoyed the best meal of the week at this restaurant. You can truly tell they use high-quality ingredients to craft their menu. As a cancer survivor, this focus on quality is essential for my health and strict nutritional needs. I ordered the barrio bowl with mushrooms and corn as my protein, and it was fantastic. The menu may be simple, but it offers a deliberate variety, and I'm excited to explore more options in the future.
I have to say, I really love Barrio—the Cubano is fantastic! However, I was really disappointed with the guacamole. It had no spice or flavor; it tasted like just pure avocado. I’m sorry to say it, but it could really use some salt and lime!
Bet rindfleisch birria burrito looked amazing and the shredded beef did not disappoint. the black beans and tears were hard and dry. the outer sauce helped to compensate the dry ingredients. I would try other dishes before I write out barrio's lynador food truck.
I like Barrio. There food is generally good. The “Burria tacos” are bot Burria. They are shredded beef and drier than dry. They shouldn’t be advertised as Burria.
