Chilangos Mexican Restaurant

Another great meal at Chilangos. Quality and flavour are consistently excellent. So happy to have this restaurant in Belleville.

The service wasnt great, my waitress didn't tell us specials or really recommend anything or tell us anything about the restaurant, however i heard another waitress helping the people next to us and she told them that everyone was made in house and told them what is the best the on the menu and she told about the special and she told about drink recommendations.. so it was a little frustrating that we had bad service. I asked for food recommendations and what she recommendation wasnt actually very good.. chicken verde? wouldn't recommend it

Great food! Tasty, reasonably priced, authentic. We did take out. Called ahead to place the order. Food was still hot and so fresh. We waited about 5 min once we got there for it to be ready as they make it to your order. Family run business. Location is central and the inside is simple and small. However, you know it's good food when the owners are serving, taking your order and grandma is cooking in the kitchen!

Booking required in summer. We tried our chance for Mexican in Belleville. not disappointed, far from there, rather enchanted we were. Typically Mexican, the restaurant is operated by two original Mexicans, brother and sister, who welcome you simply and warmly. You have to try the enmoladas to taste a most typical dish. menu for children with little extra cost and a good portion. children can drink a **** liquor-free. Mexican beer, negra modelo, accompanies very well the spicy dishes. Besides, the bill was very reasonable.

We like authentic Mexican food. Travelled to Mexico for this and we were impressed with the flavours in Mexico. Not the same at Chillangos Mexican Restaurant. Nothing impressed with this restaurant, from the hot and stuffy atmosphere to the awful mole they serve. We ordered some dip thing as an app, disappointed. We ordered entrees for two of us, disappointed. We left over 1/2 of the meals and no one asked us why???? So much for customer service. I think the best part was the Mex beer my husband ordered. So sad.Afraid I would have to recommend you skip this place, just not worth it.
