Restaurant bewertenI ordered a children's goujon meal, but the chips were so hard they might as well have been crisps. The chicken goujons were thinly sliced and heavily battered, making them more like batter than chicken. When I called to complain, I was told that they were new potatoes and that all chip shops were having the same issue. Photos will be provided to better illustrate my point.
After going to the movies, we purchased two orders of chips to snack on while walking home. Unfortunately, the chips were mostly hard and some were burnt. I have never experienced anything like it from any other chip shop in the area. I will not be buying from there again, especially at £3.75 each. We ended up having to throw them away.
Terrible food, very small portions, don’t waste your time or money. Very expensive for food that we had to throw in the bin…
This used to be the best fish and chip shop in East Belfast, Sadly no longer. I ordered a Cod Supper. Don't know what the fish was but doubt it was cod. A thinly cut and flavourless slice of something greasy accompanied by soggy limp chips. Still, no waste as I have a dog. A dear dinner for him mind you and back to cheese on toast for me.
This chip shop used to do great chips with decent portions and fresh northern Irish potatoes. I called in for a portion of chips today and got a children’s sized portion for the regular price and the potatoes were not fresh. I can get much better elsewhere and better value.
