Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food is being rushed. Also I have been coming here for years. We have decided not to come here anymore until the food quality is back to what it use to be..

We chose this restaurant because we hadn't been in a while and were on our way into Houston and wanted to avoid traffic delays. We were seated immediately. The hostess was seating parties side by side in the middle section nearest the hostess station. After about 15 minutes of reviewing the menu and another party seated right beside us, the waitress went to their table first. Unacceptable seating and service! Will stick with our local CB in the future.

Very bad services since they have checked us in on the waiting list for around 20 minutes but then we had waited 30 minutes and was told that our name wasn't on the list and we need to have our name get on the waiting list again. That's ridiculous. The manager should have handle the situation more professional and reasonable rather than told us to get back on the waiting list again (long waiting line). We supported your restaurant almost every week and this is how your restaurant treated us. We are very disappointed and will definitely stopped going there. Your restaurant isn't the only one in town, if your people make a mistake, oks accept and fix it. Don't blame on the system that got malfunction and make us accept your mistake. Very unprofessional and rude.

So I had left a customer review not too long ago regarding having issues trying to order Thanksgiving dinner for my company through the store and the catering department I had complained because I had a hard time doing it and it was because they were so busy and now I know why. Except for the gravy that was a little strange though some people liked it the food was excellent. It was delicious. the people who delivered It just did a fantastic job when they set it up very kind and very polite and joyful people. Can we now talk about the perfect mashed potatoes and macaroni cheese to die for? This mac cheese came with bacon, but it didn't even need it. It's very good on its own with the noodles slightly al dente perfectly and such creamy cheese. I think we served a lot of more of that then normal lol. And though all the pies were fantastic, everyone loved the cinnamon roll pie. Yes, you read that right? It's a thick pie crust with cinnamon rolls baked inside of it. I love the spiral ham that they served which to me is truly what the holidays are about when it comes to ham. We got so many many five star and 10 thumbs up from the The associates at the site. Thank you Cracker Barrel and the GM and a manager name Dee along with Kari from catering that made all of this happen. My son would be proud if he was still here on earth to know about this.:

My first visit at a Cracker Barrel establishment and it was horrific. We were greeted by a gentleman at the door and he took down my boyfriend 's name Jesus and we were told we 'd receive a text and they 'd call the name when we were ready. Great. We waited over 30 minutes and received no text and never heard the name Jesus so we went to check and the hostess gave horrible attitude to my boyfriend when she said she called his name on the speaker a few times (probably when we heard JOSE and not JESUS and we never received a text. After waiting another 5 minutes, we hear over the mic Jose party of 2 and we had to walk inside and tell her she 's calling the wrong name so we don 't know if it 's us and she had the nastiest attitude toward me snd my boyfriend. Condescendingly and sarcastically says to the second hostess this is JOSE and they need to be seated. Her attitude was absolutely disgusting and I never once said anything rude. She was so disrespectful. I asked to speak to the manager and I never got a visit from one to my table. If this is the kind of treatment Cracker Barrel gives their guests then this is the first and last time I spend money here. The food was average. Biscuits are the reason I gave two stars. The place is jam packed though. Please go to The Toasted Yolk instead!!
