Restaurant bewertenWent their last day of the season, we were one of the first people in. My wife and I were seated by the wall of a doorway. With an open two seats by a window. I asked the short haired hostess if we can swap seats to the window. She looked at me and said no and left. She seemed off putting and rude. Also think she was a boss of some kind.I then asked the waitress if we could swap she explained “absolutely, the waiter in that area has a table of 9 so if you don’t mind a possible delay since he’s new we can move you.” We waited 40 minutes to get in so patience wasn’t an issue for us. We then relocated with the short haired hostess making a fuss and addressing our waitress about her call. Everyone around her seemed to be walking on eggshells and was uncomfortable for us. I felt like we got out waitress yelled at for helping us out.Food was good and Blake the waiter was awesome. No delay at all but that experience with the hostess just baffled me. Left a bad taste in my mouth till the food came out.I wouldn’t return out of spite alone. But Blake made it up.
Excellent food and service, inspite of a packed house. We arrived early, on a Thursday, or the wait would have been long.
Phenomenal! We got there early but there ended up being quite a wait shortly after we were seated, but would be worth the wait!!
We had an excellent dinner, grilled whitefish plate, grilled whitefish sandwich and Mediterranean salad as well as a side of three meatballs. We had all dessert and it was amazing. Strawberry rhubarb cake, lemon cheesecake and chocolate marquis. Excellent food and service! This was my first visit and I appreciated how visible the owners welcomed and interact with customers. Server was incredibly attentive and her smile was infectious. We'll be back soon. Thanks for the wonderful meal!
We love Copper Trout! The service, the food and the atmosphere are top notch! If in Bayfield this is a must-have!!! The owners and employees are the best!
