Restaurant bewertenStopped here for a mid afternoon lunch/supper. Was delicious and accommodated me for a gluten free sandwich. Well worth the visit and money.
We were staying in the Bayfield area over the 4th, had a couple of teenagers with us, and needed a good place to start the day off for breakfast. The Hotel had suggested the Berry Farm (awful - we walked out), and Renegades.Having had about enough of lackadaisical, non caring Canadian restaurant hospitality - I was SHOCKED when we walked in and were greeted by a smiling young waitress - who couldn't get us to a table fast enough. We ate breakfast there for the next two days - it was heaven! Food was great;, portions were enough to keep a teenager happy (we had eggs, two different kinds of pancakes); all the food was excellent and very reasonable. Most of all the services was extraordinary - which, if you have eaten anywhere in the Grand Bend/Bayfield area, is EXTREMELY UNUSUAL! My compliments to the owners - you are are running a superb operation! Keep up the GREAT work!!!! It is really appreciated!Wouldn't go anywhere else in the area!!! It's my new FAVORITE eating spot!
Renegades Diner is just on the edge of town in Bayfield. It was recommended to us as the breakfast place and we were not disappointed. Prices were good, service was good and the breakfast was great. The specialty is the Eggs Benedict, but everything we had was good. Can't comment about lunch or dinner but based on the home cooked breakfasts I'm sure they're equally good.
... you're in the middle of nowhere, as best I can tell, but breakfast is quite good, especially the "spuds" offered as an alternative to home fries. Choose the spuds, they're almost worth a special trip.
The staff came from The Little Inn, which is why we visit on a regular basis when in Bayfield The soups are always superb. The dishes always more than ample and very moderately prices. Serviced good.
