Cafe Roux - Bay City

Very quiet and covered place with AWESOME food. We went to a recommendation from a friend and man last night was great this food. Don't expect to come here and be in a hurry. The gentleman did everything myself and I didn't see any personnel. He waited, cooked and served us. Not that it's something bad, he did a great job.

On my way through Bay City a few Sundays ago and stopped by this little cafe. The cafe is actually in the very back of the healthfood store (you don't enter through the Health Food store though). When I was there, it was warm inside and we had to wait a while for our food but it was well worth it. The gumbo and shrimp etoufee were so good! Had bread pudding for desert and it was also amazing. The next time I am in Bay City I will be eating here several other things on the menu that I want to try.

I wanted to eat tonight and the waitress was hot.
