The Chimes - Baton Rouge

’ve been here many times, it’s great! Really nice atmosphere on the outdoor terrace. They have heating and TV. There is a bar and a standing area. I also sat inside, which is beautiful. The noise level is nice, it is not too loud, but also not quiet. It is a nice mood and the waiting staff are on their jobs. We always get the cheese sticks that are really good! You're the biggest cheese sticks I've ever seen. The cheese sticks are so big per person is enough. The red beans and rice are also really good! We got it several times. Your sandwiches are also good. Pretty much everything on the menu is great and you can't choose a bad thing. It is located in a beautiful location directly on the LSU, so you can go around campus after eating.

The best experience we had in a minute. The waitress was pretty crazy. The food was perfect. The crab fingers had to die! I'm in love with this place will return today, yes I just left last night. That's what you get when you live in a place that doesn't match this kind of energy level of the food flavor!

We enjoyed this restaurant so much! The place is incredibly authentic with the decors. Our waitress Madeleine was really nice and gave us great recommendations. We tried the Boudin egg rolls and were not disappointed!! The food was amazing and they had a huge selection of international and regional beers. It is definitely a place to go in Baton Rouge!

It was so great! The crust fish etouffeee, bread and fried pommes especially. The staff was so nice and attentive. We had a groundnut allergy note on our online order and they were so beautiful and careful with everything to make sure there were no allergic reactions! I would definitely recommend going here while in Baton Rouge!

Anytime I travel through Louisiana, I always stop here. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge! I took my family there for the first time and they enjoyed it as well. Service was great, as our server and other waitstaff were quick and attentive. The boudin balls were a great appetizer and came out quick hot. Everyone enjoyed their food. We ordered the fried catfish plate, the half and half, a grilled chicken salad, a shrimp po-boy, a kids grilled cheese and my favorite: crawfish etouffee with a side of red beans and rice. Everyone enjoyed their food, especially my niece and nephew, who are the pickiest eaters of the group. The other adults wanted to try some of my etouffee, so I shared with them and they all enjoyed it as well. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing after a long day's drive, and the music selection was great the entire night. I'm glad my family enjoyed their experience as well, and we can't wait to return again, hopefully sooner than later. The Chimes always makes me happy, and it always pains my heart just a little whenever it's time to leave. That's how you know this is a great place to eat for everyone!
