Pür Simple - Bathurst

To preface, I usually love Pur and Simple. It’s got incredible food, lovely drinks, and a fun atmosphere. But on a cold January 28th, something had changed.Let me set the scene; A group of 14 of us wanted to get breakfast. Since food comes before socialization we understood that we all wouldn’t be sitting next to each other, but that’s okay! We were hungry.We could not get a hostesses attention to save our lives. When we did, and asked if there were 2 tables for 7, we were told no. No matter if we had to wait, or anything, just no. We then asked if we could get some tables for 4, spread about the restaurant. No. They refused to seat us in every way possible, and the hostess was visibly angry when we tried to come up with anyway to provide 14 people’s worth of breakfast money to the establishment. With our heads high, we instead went to another restaurant that sat 2 tables for 7 with a smile on their face and their card machines full. And it was even my birthday. I’m heartbroken to leave this review but it had to be done.

Very good service! A large choice of menu at a reasonable price ?

Had brunch here and the experience was top notch! I have to say our waitress was one of the best I have ever had, she was sure a breath of fresh air. We didn’t get her name but she did say she was heading back to university and she was from Neguac! They will sure miss her she is a doll.Restaurant was full and not one employee seemed overwhelmed at all, they all appeared happy to be at work. Restaurant was very clean, even the washroom.Good work to owners and management they are doing it right! We will make the short drive from Miramichi again and will be telling others!!

Good food, yes! But the cost of 1 breakfast would have paid for 3-4 suppers at home......I wish I could afford that.

The reason for the 4 start is the price of the food it's little bit to expensive for what you get but it's a nice spot to have good
