Capt. Kat's Lobster Shack

Visited with friends. Had heard rave reviews. Service was friendly. Decor is nice. A bit of a long wait time. Arrived after 6pm. There was a crowd but neither side was full. Servings are generous. Which is great because the prices are a little higher than the average local restaurant. But you won't be disappointed. It's nice to receive a generous portion of fresh seafood. Appetizers were large as well. Great family atmosphere. Would recommend to friends. Overall nice experience in the area. I'm sure our wait time was just a fluke that occasionally happens in the industry.

Baked dish of haddock with a smothing of creamy lobster on top mixed with a blend of cheese - that is Ooey Gooey - and you will just have to try it to find out how good it tastes - just remember not to be in a rush but have time to wait for it to be baked and then to have time enjoy it

I know the area very well and although the food here is VERY good, however, I feel its very overpriced onsidering you can the samw meals at other places in and around the area for wayyyy cheaper..for example...i almost fell off my chair when I saw lobster poutine for $25! There are other places that you can get it for $14 $16..its way overpriced considering the area. The staff are amazing..the rest is super cute...but the prices are city prices and that was the biggest disappointment :(

We visited with friends. The food was great, portion sizes are good and a nice selection on the menu. Good service. great food and comfortable.

Overall very nice experience. You might have to ask for the staff's attention if you need something. Great food.
