We love this place! The selection of Polish sausage and various types of salami is top notch. I won't tell you which is my favourite because, by the end of a weekend, it is often sold out! Another great choice is the prepared schnitzel.As you finish your meat purchases, don't forget a dessert, to the right of the cash register. Another choice is a Polish doughnut which, instead of having a hole in the middle, has fruit filling in that spot. Be wary, however, because during early warfare, I think they used the doughnuts instead of cannon balls as, once inside your stomach, they feel quite heavy. Best to share one!

I enjoy exploring ethnic cuisine restaurants, so I made a U-turn when I spotted Polski Deli and headed in. What I found was a delicatessen store selling Polish culinary products. The meat counter had a really extensive range of sausages, hams and other meat products labeled with Polish names. Mouthwatering take-home stuff. But this establishment is not a “restaurant” deli… neither dine-in nor take-out. Bottled soft drinks are available from a display refrigerator. But no sandwiches, no hot beverages, no etc…. I was able to buy a generic pastry for immediate take-out consumption, but that was all. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. Nevertheless, much less than I had hoped for.

If only I lived in Barrie, I would be shopping here every week. Friendly staff, wide variety of wonderful food…right from the ready made meals offered at the deli counter to the kielbasa, smoked sausages and all lunch meats. Great prices. Absolutely love the schnitzel on a bun. I have it every time I pass through. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Don't waste your money on the fast food places.

If you love Fresh Polish & European Deli Food 'Polski Deli' is the place for you to visit. You can't help but get hungry as soon as you walk in the door. Your Polish & European Cold Cuts are made to order and including a variety of cheeses. You won't want to leave before you buy some of their delicious smoked Kabasa sausages and you have a choice of plain smoked, garlic and extra garlic which are all mouth watering. Nothing in your local supermarkets compares to these smoked sausages and the kids love them for school lunches packed with crackers and cheese. These same sausages make great Birthday Party Snacks for the kids along with the Salsa and Sour Cream. Pierogies, Homemade Noodles, Canned Goods, Jams, and so many other varieties of foods are available from other countries which are a wonderful exciting treat for the family. Don't forget to try the Fresh Baked Breads and Desserts and try some of their European Chocolate Treats for the kids. This Deli is well known to the local community and is packed on shopping nights. Be next in line for the taste of real European Food. After sampling this food you will most definitely be back again.
