Harbor Villager - Bar Harbor

Once we parked our car on Sunday, we didn’t need to move it until our departure the following Thursday, as everything was just a short walk away—including shops, restaurants, and the ocean. There were even boat tours available right down the road from the motel. The hotel was impeccably clean and very affordable. The staff was exceptional, particularly JC, who made our stay even more enjoyable. This motel truly deserves a five-star rating, if not more. I hope to return next year. A big thank you to everyone at the Bar Harbor Villager Motel for a wonderful experience. Great job!

The location is near the village green, where you can catch the free Island Explorer buses, as well as access various restaurants and shops. Both the room and bathroom were spacious, with plenty of good lighting. I was pleasantly surprised by the offerings at the complimentary breakfast. In addition to a rotating hot breakfast sandwich each day, there were yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, hot muesli, muffins, pastries, cottage cheese, juice, and coffee. The pool is a good size and has a perfect temperature, with plenty of seating available. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely feature of the room was that the windows opened, allowing for fresh air.

We spent seven nights at The Villager, four of which were part of a Road Scholar program. Although the program chose The Villager for us, we would highly recommend it to anyone. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

We loved our stay at the Bar Harbor Villager Motel and hope to come back someday! The location was right within walking distance to everything downtown, and a short drive into the park. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Thank you BHVM!

Excellent location. No need to fight for parking or drive in the town crowds. Grab and go breakfast was very fresh and good! Super friendly staff and super clean! We were in the Annex. It was so quiet and the beds were so comfortable. It was a perfect place to relax at the end of our day.
