Restaurant bewertenUnfortunately, the pesto spaghetti on the special menu was inedible. The chicken was bland and poorly cooked. A big disappointment. We ended up ordering pot pies, but there were only a few left. When they arrived, they were piping hot. The steak special was decent, but it's hard to go wrong with steak.
Do not visit Kirra Beach Hotel for a meal. We were regular customers until 2019 but recently went back on New Year's Eve for lunch and were extremely disappointed. The food was terrible and overpriced, with zero quality. The fish was water-logged in overdone batter, the chips were undercooked, and the so-called salad was unappetizing. While dining, I suffered from esophageal dysphagia due to choking on the salad. I tried to make myself vomit to dislodge the food stuck in my throat. Despite my distress, none of the staff offered any assistance or even a glass of water. I am still sore a day later from the stress. It is clear that the staff lacked basic care and training. I hope that future management will be more competent and attentive. My experience was so severe that I felt compelled to share this review to warn others.
When your in town at Kirra head down to the hotel for a feed. Tuesday night was $15 surf n turf and was cooked great. We added 12 chicken wings with blue sauce and 10 calamari which was tender. 2 surf n turfs 12 wings and 10 calamari with an extra garlic sauce $50. Great value and they have a kids room.
Awesome place for everyone. Best service , meals were great and great value for money . All staff were fantastic
I disliked having to write this review because we have visited this restaurant before and had a good experience. However, this time it felt like a gathering place for senior citizens, which isn't necessarily a negative thing, but the atmosphere was not as enjoyable as it used to be. The food was mostly mediocre, such as a $35 steak that was tough and undercooked. The overall quality was lacking, including the unimpressive salads and chips that came with every meal. It's unclear if the salads were meant to be eaten or just for show on the plate. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Kirra.
