Balkon - Banja Luka

Waiter that served us not professional at all and a bit rude, fast though. So, not all is lost. Food, I ate few times there breakfast is great, as you can't get wrong in that area but lunch... we had burger and bun was old and heated, meat very dry and without taste... French fries were great. Pasta Carbonara... well, total miss as It looked more like some white soup with pasta. So that's a hard NO at least for me. My kid did finish it as she came straight from school and she did share that it tastes good but it is not carbonara. Dessert, their signature one, hmmmm not sure, part of it was okay part not so much...I believe it was just a bit old.

Went here 3 times. First two times, nice waiters and speedy service. Got one of my drinks wrong, but that's okay, I'm not picky. The third time, the waitress was so rude. I first ordered a drink, did some work on my laptop, and after about 30 minutes I got hungry and so asked for a bruschetta. She refused to serve me because she had already given me a receipt for my drink. I don't speak Serbian, but this was the reasoning I could infer from her tirade. Shocking and confusing to say the least. I won't go back.

Had a very unpleasent suprise, when a hair showed up in my orange juice. The waitress refused to bring me a new one, saying that I should just take it out of the drink. The food is meh. Drinks okay, if u like hairy things. All in all, u dont need to have a drink here

Good service, central position, nice view on the Square.

I avoided this place for a long time because people said the food was bad but after i took the step and ate here all i can say that the first impression is more than good. First of the prices are pretty decent considering its in the literal center of the city. Second the chicken and pork piadinas we ordered were more than good and i can only recommend them. So all in all this is a perfect example of try it out yourself and dont listen to others.
