Happy Endings - Bangor

My husband and I frequent this place because it’s consistently fantastic! The martinis and cocktails are genuinely unique—nothing else in the Bangor area comes close. The tapas and desserts are delightful additions to the menu. They also offer a selection of wines and beers on tap if that’s more to your liking. Happy Endings is a cozy bar that attracts a crowd with its live music, drink specials, and friendly service. Some of my favorites include the Ruby Slipper (strawberry, lemon, and mint), the Peach Bellini (served in a mini champagne bottle!), the crème brûlée, and the Corey flatbread.

Staff was Very friendly and the cocktails hit the spot.

Stopped in before our dinner reservations across town. The Drinks were very strong (almost too strong....though I can't believe I am saying that! maybe we just made wrong choices. We had the hummus plate, which was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was small but comfortable, before the Friday night rush started. Though not our favorite place downtown, we would try it again in the future.

My man and I are here all the time because they are consistently amazing! the martinis and cocktails are really inspired, nothing else compares in the Bangor area. the tapas and desserts are delicious supplements. but they also have a few weeping and be on tap if they prefer it. happy endings is a small bar that draws in a crowd with live music, drinks specialties and personable service. to my favorites include: ruby slipper (strohbeere, lemon and minze, peach bellini (mini champagne bottle! , the cream brulee and the corey flatbread.

I wouldn't recommend this place if you're visiting from out of town. It has a very cliquish atmosphere, and the female bartender wasn't as friendly as someone mentioned in a previous review. I found the dive bar downstairs—I think it was called the Tavern—much more welcoming. The vibe was friendly, and the people were chatty! The drinks were enjoyable as soon as you took a sip!
