Restaurant bewertenFun place no frills lots of crabs and seafood. Friendly, small spot with amazing amount of shellfish and crabs. Draft beer too.
Not the greatest looking place inside or out but very clean and excellent food. We came in for a late lunch/early dinner after arriving in Baltimore Inner Harbor area and were hungry. The crab dip with the large warm pretzel sticks was unique and the best by far this trip over all the other restaurants we sampled this trip. The snow crab legs, fried sampler and crab puff (crab cake in funnel cake batter) were also very, very good. The staff was very friendly and everything was prepared fresh to order. This local not touristy restaurant was worth the trip.
Even from a locals pov, if you’re gonna get crabs, get them from LP Steamers. They really do a disservice w their understated attitude. This is a Baltimore staple that ought to be brought to attention to the masses. Maybe that’s why it’s so unaffected and genuine, only in Baltimore. Right smack center in Locust Point you’ll find this row home turned diner that serves the best of them all. I wish we had ordered everything off the menu, alas we got what we can handle portion wise. We got the crabs, onion rings, fried shrimp, hush puppies, all better than none other. Old bay seasoning making its way delicately in every item we ordered. Locals love this place and so did we. Full marks!
This is my FAVORITE BLUE CRAB SPOT Every time we drive up from Atlanta we make it our business to stop here… We usually get the large blue crabs…the steamed shrimp with the onions… “Everything is so FRESH AND OUR FOOD ALWAYS COME OUT HOTTTTTT…. we’ve also tried the crab cake and lobster is good also.. You can’t go wrong here I promise.. And we just love Stephani.. she has the best customer service and she always remembers the little things that we like
This is definitely an experience and a good one at that! It’s great for hanging out with friends and family. There’s a rooftop deck too if you’d like to be outside with a view, and plenty of indoor seating. Tucked away into a quiet neighborhood of baltimore the view was great and the seafood was delicious! The hush puppies are a MUST! While the majority of the menu is seafood there are some options for non-seafood lovers too. Definitely worth a try especially if you love crab!
