Restaurant bewertenAn inspiring, charming café. Keep a little late for lunch and had the beef stir fry. Immediately received the friendly welcome and supported seating. The timing for the menu was perfect, not late, but also not hastened, as they wanted us to order the ashes. Lemon infused water came out without being asked. Specials of the day, Discontinued dishes are immediately informed. I wasn't asked if I was ready to order, but he knew I was ready to order. He had every moment of eye contact while serving other customers. The same attention was given to others. Includes telephone service, preorder, warmer seating, vegetarian menu, refill or coffee, plus just the right amount of chat with customers. Food came at 10 minutes, perfect! The food size is surprisingly satisfying. Not big as if you were a hungry customer, not small as you didn't pay. Take it slowly and hug the simple and beauty in life. The Indonesian cooking is well represented with the right white rice quality and a large sambal. Indonesia has a very wide range of Sambal, this is not too spicy (Forbearance for those who are not used, this can be very sharp for you), but they can adapt to your wishes. Ask for mild if you are not used. I was impressed that the door was held for a take-off customer and was supported her car right in front of the café. Definitely to see this café next time. Very recommended!!! Excuse me if the photo was incomplete, but hope it's honest and helpful.
Fantastic Indonesian restaurant/café. We have a beautiful lamb curry, ayam chicken and stir fried beef with vegien. Sambal was excellent. Friendly service and cozy room
Great and amazing place! Owner was so nice, we didn't have money, so he told us we'd pay in Ballarat the next time. I went to the ATM and came back the next day! He also gave us free chocolate and made a house made bottle of Sambal to collect on Friday!!
Excellent food and coffee! Friendly, fast service and authentic Indonesian food freshly cooked on site. Small but cozy cafe run by a man and a woman, plenty of space and good for meeting with friends, as we did, how you can talk without calling to hear. Will definitely come back!
Just had the best meal here, always drive past this cafe as we live just down the road but first time here. We ordered the nasi goreng, Soto Ayam, chai latte and New York cheesecake. Right off the bat, the cafe is so cute and the owner is so lovely. There was a lovely gentleman playing acoustic guitar and singing beautiful songs like Hallelujah, Jolene, Can't help falling in love. So sweet. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic, the homemade sambal was to die for!! The owner asked what temperature we would like the latte, such attention to detail. It tasted fantastic. He also gave us extra ice cream and strawberries with our cheesecake. They only take cash so make sure to bring cash! New favourite place in ballarat, make sure to visit if you're here! Will visit again often, love this place.
