Tacos El Karni - Bakersfield

I'm so grateful someone recommended this place to me! My friend and I visited and were immediately impressed by the smell of the grilling spices—it made our mouths water! After chatting with the owner, Caesar, he served me his famous chicken plate and my friend had the beef ribs. The chicken was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and delicious down to the last bite. I thought I had tasted great food before, but this was on another level. Saying it was the best I've ever had would be an understatement; it’s truly the best thing I’ve ever eaten, and I doubt anything will ever come close. I plan to return several times a week whenever I can. This place deserves more than just five stars! The staff is friendly, and you can really tell they love their job—it shows in the food. I give it a 10 out of 10!

We're on our way back home from Tijuana to Washington State and wanted to grab some good tacos before our journey continued. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and deliciousness of the food. It was extremely hot outside, so we opted to stay in the car with some fresh chips and salsa while we waited for our order. We decided to try a little bit of everything, and it was all very affordable. I have to say, the birria consome tacos were some of the best I've ever had, and the chicken was another favorite. The owner even came out to thank us for our business. I would give them 10 stars if I could, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place without reservation!

The carne asada fries are absolutely delicious and reasonably priced considering the generous portion of food and meat on top. This restaurant has become our go-to spot!

A plate costs 10.99 on the menu, but if I checked the app on my phone to see how much they charged me 16.88!? can anyone tell me how this is possible?

They had no chicken, pastor, used waffle fries instead of regular fries. Meat was dry. Food not good like it used to be. If you use your card, they charge you a percentage. Cost bout $3 to use my card.
