Restaurant bewertenWe visited during lunch and were impressed with the food options available. They also had a great selection of drinks to choose from.
We stopped here a couple of times for coffee. It was very good and we sat at their outside tables, though they do have tables indoors. The food looked good though we only had coffee.
Called in after the markets and could not decide...had an awesome hot chocolate and an amazing iced chocolate (between us!
This cafe based around a Guylion chocolate theme should have a health warning. I had the Dame Blance a concoction of good quality vanilla ice, warm chocolate sauce, piped cream, chocolate flakes and raspberry brandy snaps. As others have said it's pretty expensive but I'm not eating supper tonight. Service is quick and smiling. Recommended unless on a diet.
How long does it take to make a few baguets and a salad? At the Chocolatiere a long time, I can assure you. Okay, the place was crowded (on a Saturday when there's a market at The Rocks), the view nice, the birds a good distraction, but waiting for more than a hour is way to long. And no excuses when the (expensive) baguets arrived. Perhaps we were just unlucky? It was our only bad experience in Australia.
