Restaurant bewertenWe were here in Christmas Eve because there wasn’t any other restaurant open. We were lucky to find this great place. As Mexicans, we were skeptical because we thought it would be a Tex-Mex restaurant. However, this is what a typical Mexican restaurant looks like in Mexico. This restaurant doesn’t try to “look” Mexican with all the crazy decorations. We enjoyed the food and the service. 1) The beef fajitas were amazing. 5/5 2) I would order chicken instead of ground beef for the fajitas. I thought they were a bit greasy and have me heartburn afterwards. 4/5 3)The guacamole didn’t have jalapeños, lime and it needed a bit of salt. 4/5 4) The rice and beans weren’t hot. They were OK, but by the time we were halfway done, the rice and beans were cold. I think they could have been hotter. 3/5 Other than that the food was great. I would definitely come back.
Food was very good and fresh. Service was fast. Outdoor seating was great. We were astounded how few people were there given the quality of the experience. I want to keep it a secret, but I also want it to do well so that it will be there for many return trips.
Great good and great service from our server Alex! We came on a Sunday afternoon and we were seated in a few minutes. Great outdoor patio!!
We came to dinner and were surprised to see no one eat! The restaurant owner was super nice and friendly. She set us and made great recommendations. We have divided a Queso Flameado w/ veggies for appetizer and a flan for dessert. I have the La Margarita salad w/ beef for duck, while my partner got the vegetarian enchiladas. Your Queen is the best authentic I ever had! Super dense and thick, very rich, filled with flavors and vegetables tomatoes, mushrooms etc.) It has perfectly paired with the provided flour tortilla or the complementary chips. La Margarita salad w/ beef is called salad, but it was gigantic and loaded with a good selection of very filling ingredients chorizo, beans, corn, cheese and rice. Given its share, I could not believe how cheap it is $9 w/o meat). It is added a large duck either on your own or with meat. The dressing was also amazing. Corn Flan just amazing! Perfect measure of sweetness and wealth. You can feel the corn kernel holistic in the flan. The restaurant owner told us about the other location of Hecho En Mexico. She said the menus are quite different for the two locations because they try their best to the demographic nearby. I found this very thoughtful. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The interior was simple and modern. I can see that it is a great place for a quick lunch and a relaxing dinner with families and friends. Would you like to see the other location next time!
I can't believe more people aren't in this place. the service was fantastic, and eating was amazing. I'm the only table here, but I'll come back every time I'm in town. the 3 enchiladas with 3 different moles were a great and tasty experience. I've never seen a white **** or tried.
