Restaurant bewertenMade a reservation but restaurant was closed. Would be nice if you are going to close, even temporarily, that you remove yourself from OpenTable. Got all the way there and the door was padlocked.

I am normally not one for leaving reviews but if I could give this place 10 stars I would!! Grant the owner and his staff were absolutely incredible, so warm and welcoming. Once we walked in we were met with staff that you could tell had a lot on their plates, but that did not stop them from giving us amazing customer service in a very timely manner; and on top of that THE FOOD WAS INSANE!!!! Calamari was amazing, New York strip was cooked to perfection. My friend and I haven't been able to stop raving about this place since we left last night. This place is an absolute gem any time I come back to austin I will always stop by for an awesome meal.
For our first night out in a while, we were disappointed. The appetizer was delicious but the main courses were not good. My salmon was raw in the middle and my husband's chicken fried steak was bland and not the best. The worst part was the service. Our waiter wasn't interested in his job is an understatement. My water glass was empty for half the meal and then when it did get filled my husbands glass was empty. Not worth the money and won't go back.
When we arrived to the parking lot and realized what business suite Bashaw's was in and then saw the inside we were completely blown away by the transformation. We have been here as it was a couple of other businesses and this by far was the most impressive trip to this location. I had heard of the restaurant as Bashaw's so when we realized it is actually a live music dining experience as well, we were super excited!! We were welcomed in immediately by Grant taken to our table. I was appreciative of the attention to detail, the way they had our table set so that we were facing the musicians. We started with the skinny margarita and The Rosebud (Grant suggested it) The Rosebud was so good i had two but I can confirm, both drinks were delicious. We were given some bread with a delicious cinnamon butter that was delish!! We came in on Valentines Day enjoyed a prefixed menu. We started with a caesar salad we shared and loved the sardines! We got the Shrimp brochette for appetizer, the filet mignon, the seafood paella, and closed dinner with a slice of giant chocolate cake. The music was wonderful!! The service was amazing!! The steak.. oh my gosh how tender it was!! I will never come back and share my steak again!! Literally everything that came from the kitchen and the bar was amazing!! Hands down amazing and will return soon!
