Restaurant bewertenWe had a better experience at the restaurant when there was more food available. We were looking forward to having hummus, falafel, and pita, but unfortunately they were not available. We ended up ordering different dishes instead. The food was tasty, but we wished we had been able to try the items we had originally wanted.
The restaurant offers a lovely variety of local dishes, many of which are vegan. While it would be ideal if everything was 100% vegan, considering the location in Auroville, I was quite satisfied with the options available. I found the food to be delicious and authentically prepared.
I had a nice lunch here. the menu is pure sweet and usually Israeli food like falafel and hummus and various salads. the place itself is set in auroville a self-containing village. we were well served and eating came fast. only had to pay grip extra for the wheat-free bread and get a piece that was barely edible, even the dog wouldn't eat it! otherwise a nice place to stop by.
These ladies were incredibly rude, although they were nice to other customers. I have ordered the same plate called fusion plate 2 days in order after another customer order. I saw rice, mixed vegetables and 3 or more falafels on his teller. the next day I ordered the same. one of the employees said to order something else on the menu, because it will take a while to prepare. I insisted I wanted the plate. I received the same amount of falafels as the other customer on the day before. on the 2nd day I went back to the same thing. first, they did not come to my table to take my order, I had to go to them. I told them I wanted the fusion plate. the waitress came approx. 10 minutes without falafels. there were only brown rice, mixed vegetables, beet and brot. I asked the waitress about the falafels. she went back to the kitchen and told me it was 5 minutes because they cook. 15 minutes later I see a woman going to the kitchen and getting falafels. then the waitress brought a falafel plate to another customer. the problem is that I was there before them. it was clear that they had no intention of bringing me the falafels. I asked the waitress about my falafels. she left and came back with a falafel and a small fried wobble in a small silver cup. I told her I was about 3 falafels on the day before my reception. she said no, only one falafel comes with this teller that is not true because I have seen other customers, including me who previously received more than one. Why did it take so long for a falafel (which i had to beg for)? a man saw all this as he said he couldn't believe how rude they were.
Fresh and clean middle eastern food. Nice atmosphere.
