Fat Shack - Aurora

I make it a point to never go to a restaurant during their first week, let alone opening night. It 's always horrible service while the staff is trained and the food is always subpar. Well, guess I have to say 'almost always ' now. Fat Shack exceeded all expectations! I just popped in for fries and a shake and was not disappointed. The shake was rich and creamy and the fries were hot and crisp, and everyone seemed to be really at ease with what they were doing. I returned later in the week with the wife and children. Everything was delicious, from the sandwiches to the fried mac and cheese. I 've since shared with others who have given them a try and so far everyone has loved them. I will be returning again. And again. And again.

So get this they have a sandwich that has cheese sticks, jalapeno poppers, chicken fingers, AND fries all atop a cheese steak. In other words, the most American resturant you'll ever visit. More American than a bald eagle perched atop an American flag pole, while fighter jets soar overhead. 10/10.

The burgers were on point! Wings nice and meaty and not fatty, buffalo sauce was awesome. Chicken strips were real chicken and 4 year old approved! And the fries are fantastic!! Can’t wait to try some of their sandwiches!!

Went last night for the first time. Great friendly service, great food! I love that they're open till 3 on the weekends. This will definitely be my go-to spot!
