Krispy Krunchy Chicken/super Express

I visited Popeyes before coming here and my chicken was good. However, while pumping my gas, I noticed this place sold chicken. Needless to say, this chicken was delicious and 10x better than Popeyes! Go figure!

Ms. Barbara and Mr. Jim are excellent, kind and courteous with all customers throughout the day. They really treat you like family, which is extremely rare nowadays. 5 stars isn't enough for this dynamic duo! They deserve a raise for sure.

There are approximately 15 parking spaces available for trucks. On a Friday night, it’s easy to find a spot, though I can’t comment on other days. The restaurant was clean and fairly busy, with staff calling out the names of regular customers, which created a nice "Cheers" atmosphere. The food at Krispy Krunchy Chicken was quite delicious, and the cookies were incredibly tasty, practically melting in your mouth. They were out of gizzards, but with only one person managing both cooking and serving, he did an impressive job keeping things running smoothly. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stop by. They also sell lottery tickets, scratch-offs, and have machines available. Thanks for providing a safe place to park!

The chicken was fried in the same oil as the fish, which gave it a fishy smell and flavor. As for the biscuit, it resembled cornbread more than anything else; it was decent, but nothing outstanding.

The best Krispy Krunch in Augusta! The chicken sandwiches and cookies are consistently amazing. I highly recommend it!
