Restaurant bewertenI love mugg and bean. This branch is down the road from me and it's so easy to stop for a quick snack. The eating spaces are located both inside and outside depending on your mood. The umbrella section is my favourite on a sunny day. It's a very chilled spot and the waiters are attentive. They know the menu well and food comes out quickly
I have been to this mugg and bean many many times. The food is ok. The waiters and always there to attended the costumes and they are great. But this place is always really busy.
I was fortunate to be invited to a food tasting, at the Lonehill Branch, of some of the new items on the Winter Menu for Mugg and Bean. The new items on the menu are inspired by the health wave hitting us, global trends, and a lot of Asian inspired flavours.<br/ <br/ On arrival we were offered 3 different flavoured team floats, I had the Matcha Green Tea, which is served in what looks like a mini milk bottle. The flavour is absolutely amazing and I’m sure the other 2 flavours are just as good. The next item really blew my mind, it’s a new Low-Carb Gluten-Free Bread, the bread is surprisingly fluffy, light, and extremely delicious. You can actually buy the bread from the Mugg and Bean (well at least the Lonehill Branch) and take it home.<br/ <br/ We then moved on to some soups, one of the soups really stood out for me, the Coconut, Carrot and Ginger soup was absolutely full of flavour, thick, and delicious. Now on to the breakfast skillets, there are 3 different ones available, I had a vegetarian skillet which had some leeks, mushrooms and baby potatoes with a poached egg nestled on top. However the skillet didn’t quite do it for me, but I suppose if you were a vegetarian you would enjoy it.<br/ <br/ Then came an Asian inspired dish of fresh flat breads with fillings. I had the falafel, spinach, and red pepper which is a great vegetarian option; and the Sesame crusted buttermilk chicken, which had to be my favourite dish of the evening. The chicken was juicy and succulent, and the sesame crust was delicious and crunchy, the best part of the dish was the peanut satay sauce that was drizzled on the inside. On to some healthy burger options was the Bare Burger which is served on a mushroom eliminating the need for the roll.<br/ <br/ On to the sweet stuff, first off we had some power smoothies. There were two available 1. The Banana, Caramel Espresso Crunch Power Smoothie which was my favourite, the bitterness of espresso and sweetness of caramel work well together; 2. The green apple, Chia seeds Power smoothie, I didn’t get to tast this but the other patrons said it was fantastic. We also had the Decadent Chocolate Hot Milkshake, which is ice-cream in a jar with hot chocolate and marshmallows on the side, giving you the opportunity to play with your food and mix and match as you wish. Lastly was the Choc Chip Cookie Dough layer cake which was light, not stodgy, generous amounts of icing and would go down well with a hot cup of coffee. <br/ <br/ All in all some fantastic new additions to the menu.
I had brunch with my kids this morning M&B<br/ We enjoyed their breakfast however the service was ridiculously bad .<br/ The waiters just chill and chit chat with each other and don 't pay attention at all<br/ It was empty today but took so long for them to bring our meals even my child said 'my gosh the service here mommy '<br/ <br/ The kids had the M&B on the go and the sloppy Joe which they enjoyed ... I had the shakshuka it was lovely and spicy, initially served cold had to ask for my breakfast to be reheated .<br/ This meal kind of rekindled my love for M&B<br/ Coffee at M&B is always good ... <br/ M&B is a life saver for the all days Breakfast
My absolute favourite Mugg Bean, service is awesome, great location and food is really good. Got a lovely vibe and the staff make you feel like part of the family. Great place for family outings or business lunches. Managers are super attentive too.
