The Clare Inn Irish Pub - Auckland

This is definitely a local favorite. They serve excellent fish and chips, as well as lamb. I was in the mood for something simple and tasty, and this place really delivered. Our server was very friendly, and our food arrived quickly. The atmosphere was great, and the food was amazing. I highly recommend it!

A group of us from the U.S. stopped here before the women's world cup game. Nice Irish pub with authentic interior. There was a large crowd and the staff was swamped, so it's difficult to properly rate the place. But it was full of football/soccer fans making it a fun environment. Would definitely return.

I've been here for a couple of functions for which they have a good room/space for. The food is good but can depend on the dish you order the steak is average but expected being served with fries and salad on the side like most pubs do, but I also had the chicken served with fondant potatoes recently and that was absolutely delicious!

This is a great place to enjoy a draft beer. The fireplace adds a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I watched the women’s World Cup final here in August 2023, and the vibe was fantastic. I also stopped by on a day when there was a rugby match, and the place was bustling with people. It definitely seems like an excellent spot for watching sports while enjoying a pint. Plus, parking is convenient thanks to the supermarket lot nearby.
