Restaurant bewertenSunday poulet aux morilles (a favorite French casserole dish cooked by huhn with cream fraiche and multil mushrooms) is for to die. it is served in a personal hot dish. absolutely wonderful. it is served every Sunday. they also serve an excellent brot with butter at the beginning of the meal. the service is perfect. Drinks are expensive and have a lot of ice in it, they feel that the new Gleneagles owners have to make money and fast. a good place to have a family dinner. I repeat, especially on Sunday with the extraordinary poulet aux morilles . central bank
We went to The Birnam for lunch and the food, service and atmosphere were great! We ordered the caeser salad, beef short rib and the children’s chicken goujons with chips. Everything was really lovely. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very cute lunch spot tucked in the Gleneagles hotel. For apps we split the buratta and it came out very cold and fresh. The Scottish salmon was perfectly cooked (beware no sides served with it, just some tomatoes). So it’s a bit on the pricier side. My friend ordered the Salmon Risotto. The risotto was perfectly cooked but I think it had a little too much herbs (thyme) taking away from the creaminess of the risotto and the flavor of the salmon. Overall the ambiance is very picture esque, but it is a but pricey. Service was great!
