Memphis Coffee - Aubagne

Although we were aware of poor reviews we decided to visit the place for lunch partly due to curiosity and partly to give it a chance. Also, I hardly ever leave a review unless it’s a 5-star one. But this was so bad I felt I can’t just leave it without saying nothing. Absolutely shocking!!! All the 1 and 2 star reviews here are absolute truth. (Leaving us thinking who writes the good ones). To say the service was slow would be to say nothing at all. It got to the point where we laughed and looked at it as a form of entertainment. It certainly felt we had found French Faulty Towers. It was about an hour between the time when we sat at our table and when we started eating. After two hours we gave up and left leaving money on the table, never got the desert we ordered as didn’t want to wait any longer. We ordered burgers. I don’t know who’s their food supplier but the quality and taste of the food is absolutely disgusting. The management should try the food they are selling themselves. I’d be keen to hear a feedback. We are not picky eaters but this was the first time we couldn’t finish our meal as the food was pretty much inedible. The place has so much potential, but it’s all spectacularly wasted. What a shame.

As a family we really liked this place. The burgers were huge for the price and of a good quality and the staff were only too happy to help. The staff didn't really speak much English but definitely tried and luckily my French was good enough to order with no problem. The deserts looked nice but they couldn't be managed after such a big portion. The drinks were ok but it was the food that really stood out!

La carte est magnifique, nous avons choisi deux menus et les portions étaient généreuses. Cependant, le pain n'était pas frais, c'est vraiment dommage.

It is always a pleasure to eat there, a delicious cuisine, a pleasant staff.
