"I've been wanting to write this review for a while and always procrastinated. We took my father to the Cheval Blanc to celebrate his birthday. All four of us absolutely loved it from start to finish. The staff is incredibly nice, the setting, with the river flowing in front, is simply great and the food is, unsurprisingly, excellent. We all took the tasting menu which was one tasty surprise after another. They had no problem accommodating my fiancee's vegetarian lifestyle, which, while expected nowadays, doesn't always mean the result is satisfying. In this case it was. We got to speak with the Chef and the end of the meal and his incredibly friendly manner and the obvious passion for the food was just one more reason why we will visit again.In conclusion we can only recommend it: if you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion to the tune of world-class food, this is it."
