Restaurant bewertenThe wings are very small but very tasty. The sauces are all very flavorful. Fries are average. Seats are not very comfortable and most tables are relatively small. Air conditioning seemed to be limited. If you’re someone that’s not very comfortable eating in the heat, I would order for carry out. The service was also not that great. I’m still rating it 4 stars because the wings sauces were very tasty.
We visited from Ohio and had an incredible experience. The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. The young lady at the front was especially polite and kind. Every time we entered, she greeted us with a warm smile. Thank you, JR Crickets! Food: 5/5
After sitting down, I waited for about 20 minutes, and my neighbors noticed that I was being overlooked. They kindly offered me a menu. Feeling ignored, I decided to head to the bar to at least enjoy a drink. The friendly bartender advised me to place my order with my server. I explained that my server was not paying any attention to me. She then grabbed the server's attention and directed it my way. I was finally able to place my order, but the server mentioned that she had been ignoring me because the nearby guests had given me a menu first. I noticed that she was bringing water to everyone else who came in. I requested her attention and asked if I could also have a glass of water. She replied, "You didn’t ask before," and walked away, though she eventually did bring me the water. I believe the server's name is Angel. The food looked really appealing, but I completely lost my appetite due to the service. As I write this, I’m asking for takeout boxes and preparing to leave.
Everything was excellent. I had the fish sandwich with fries and it was delicious. My son ordered wings and shrimp with fries. His wings had so much flavor he ate every bit of it. My guy had the veggie wrap with fries and he said it was flavorful. This will be one of our go to places to eat for sure when we're back in town.Food: 5/5
JR Crickets was the 3rd restaurant I visited when I moved here for college. I’ve been to every location from 1992-2005, with the original restaurant on Spring Street being my favorite spot. Now that I’m back in Atlanta even as a Vegan, I took the opportunity to pick up a To-Go order for my Daughter. The irony is when she was young, it was all things Medium Lemon Pepper wings. Now all she craves raves about is the Lemon Pepper Shrimp.Upon arriving here, the first thing I did was ask for Paul, the OG Owner. Although he was back in NY, I had to let his staff know how great of a person he was back in the day... still is. Not only on the ethos of offering true Buffalo, NY style wings as a staple great customer service...Paul always made you feel welcome no matter who are or where you’re from.If I ever revert from Veganism, Jr. Crickets is my first stop to indulge.
