Young bartender with a hat asks customers to TIP and lets them know what they make and what they tip the barbacks to guilt into tipping. This was my first time visiting this location and upon buying my first round for 30 dollars was accused of not tipping when I placed 10 dollars on the bar for them. The young man tapped me on the shoulder to tell me that I did not tip and explained how much they made and paid barbacks, I informed him I did tip and it was not my position to keep track of what happens once I put the money on HIS BAR. Multiple times he tried to embarrass me and did not even bother to apologize, this was a very poor experience to a place that has more potential than that. As a former bartender it goes without saying there will be people who tip and those who do not, it is not your job to call out people who do not tip and it's rude to beg for money. What was even more ridiculous was that I paid him with the only 100 dollar bill I had, he returned my change of 3-20s and 1-10, i tipped the 10 dollars and then showed him I only had 3-20s left, he still skewed his view of me and thought I had robbed him of his tip. The guy is a JOKE and a pathetic bartender and OH his drinks were horrible.
Let's see. Show up to enjoy Pride. Go to Ten at 8:30 and find a $20 cover For pride. That was Friday with a 8 ft cage blocking it off. Find out it is $40 for Sunday. So pride brings in money but let's take total advantage of it. It looked like a fenced in lock up. Not the right setup for a gay bar. Horrible.
