Restaurant bewerten Was Brown Bergstrom an Afternoon Tea - L'Hermitage Hotel Vancouver mag:
Exzellentes Essen und aufmerksamer Service. schöne Präsentation. Ich war sehr zufrieden. Ich wünschte, die Portionen wären etwas größer. Ich stimme früheren Bewertungen zu, die besagten, dass sie nicht hungrig sind. Ich hatte den Burattasalat, Saibling und die weiße Schokoladenmousse zum Nachtisch. Der Geräuschpegel war höher als ideal - hatte einige Schwierigkeiten, meinen Freund zu hören, der über dem Tisch saß. In... Mehr Bewertungen anzeigen.
Was Myron Rowe an Afternoon Tea - L'Hermitage Hotel Vancouver nicht mag:
Der Salat und das Brot waren sehr gut. Die Hauptgerichte waren in Ordnung, aber sehr, sehr kleine Portionen. Ich begrüße kleine Teller, wenn die Preise dementsprechend sind. Die Hauptgerichte kosten zwischen 40 und 32 Dollar. Mehr Bewertungen anzeigen.
Had an amazing experience to get afternoon. it would be highly recommended!
We went there before a performance in the vancouver opera. the afternoon high tea was excellent. attentive and polished service.
If they are looking for a quiet, high-end place to enjoy afternoon tee l 'orangerie is a good option. the lounge is accessible only for hotel guests and restaurant courses. make sure they have a reservation in advance. ambiente was relaxing and cozy. they could spend a few hours here, play a game chess or read next to the kamin. I got a handmade drink as soon as I sat and there was a nice note from the hotel manager. after that my assessment is mixed. Among the tea options are handcrafted tees that are typically found in five star hotels. I have bought this special tee brand before online and appreciated the aroma and quality of the tees. the food was not the same standards. they call me a purist, but cream cheese with sugar and heavy seeing is a camouflaged cream look-a-like. for those of us who can distinguish the taste, it was catastrophic. the scones that only the correct amount of soft inside and crack outside, but don't waste the dipped devonshire cream on them. the fingersandwiches tasted in order, but nothing to write about in the house. desserts looked phenomenal and were a mixture of good and fair. if they're looking for a place to entertain others with exceptional service, but only the look of a high-end afternoon then not further. However, if they are a purse of all the dingen afternoon, there are much better options a few blocks away.
I visited for Afternoon Tea with five girlfriends. A few of us are from the UK, so have eaten at high quality Afternoon Teas in other hotels, not that we expected it to be the same: We are definitely not snobs! The good: nice decor, lovely fireplace (although unfortunately we weren't seated near it! , and what I would imagine would be a lovely outdoor deck in the summer efficient service (we were almost the only people there excellent choice of teas decent quantity of food The okay: all of the food was quite blah and didn't any memorable flavour. It was just okay. Specifically: some of the sandwiches were dry on one side, where they had presumably been left out. But still, they tasted fine. The egg salad was the best. the scones were... well they just seemed very similar to the ones you get in a coffee shop; nothing special usually, Devonshire Cream (or any cream for that matter , in a traditional Afternoon Tea is clotted. The cream we had was whipped. the pastries did not appear to be made in house. It was a mixture of average sized pastry that was cut up into small pieces, mini eclairs and mini macaroons the only item that was memorably good was for the chocolate and mint macaroon We were pretty hungry but still left about half the pastries and a few sandwiches. The tea selection was excellent, the coffee was fine, the service was very efficient and friendly. The ambiance was lacking as was almost empty, however the surroundings were lovely, so on a busier day or maybe at a different time of day it could be really nice. Probably be a great summer brunch/lunch spot ! .
I really don't have the feeling that we're having high tea. Scones on the top tier is in big size, hard and crispy. It suppose to be soft and warm. Mid-tier sandwich, nothing special. Dessert at the bottom is ... You can always pick better scones and sandwich from other bakery. It's not home made, most of them are from outside. Not worth for paying $45.00 each person and the picture (upload photo) cost $125.00.
