Restaurant bewertenWe ate dinner here the night before our Quetico canoe trip. Food was good, service was friendly, albeit a tad slow, but they were busy. This was about the only place open at 8pm on a Friday in June, so it was crowded. I had the patty melt and it was good, along with a heaping pile of crinkle cut fries.
Big portions served hot. Burgers were a hit with hungry boy scouts. I had the mixed salad with blue cheese dressing-very good. I had the pickerel and the chicken both generously proportioned and served hot off the grill.
We had two wonderful dinners catering to 8-9 hungry boy scouts experiencing the Northern Tier high adventure canoe trip in Atitkokan/Quetico. We did not stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant twice. Recommend the fresh pickeral and the Castle burgers and onion rings. Big servings served hot.
Stopped in for a quick lunch and had a salmon salad sandwich and a bowl of turkey soup. The soup was homemade hearty and delicious. The salmon sandwich was fresh nicely prepared, it was like i would make at home, big bulky and meant for an appetite. The waitress was a seasoned pro, despite the full tables she still managed to keep on top of everything great job.
The restaurant serves the best honey mustard crunch salad and delicious perogies that i have ever ordered
