Restaurant bewertenFirst Off.Nice Place, Nice View. Emory, our very nice lady. Was not the problem. The cooks, the mgr, the computers. I made double sure I paid for what I was served! I should not have paid it made me sick. Besides the fact the Mgr decides to add 20% to all the people on two separate tables. Which at that. He messes with Emory’s tickets and gets people who paid for food they did not get. The sad part is. Emory is the one will suffer. And it was not her fault. Because as we left I clearly heard that nice man say your still short. But funny thing is we were outside the front doors for some time discussing the mess inside. So he had ample opportunities to make it right. Nuff Said!
As a local, I love coming to this place. The food is great and the atmosphere is good, but when I walk in, the servers make me feel like I’m a burden. My husband and I went in an hour and a half before they closed and had three servers walk by without acknowledgment, one sitting at a table folding napkins and two others standing at a computer. We just stood there waiting to be seated and it was uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time we’ve been treated like this. We tip well and aren’t difficult customers. I’m not sure if others get treated this way, but it’s a bummer that we live so close but aren’t able to enjoy a nice restaurant.
Food was great, but the Cole slaw had a little too much vinegar taste to it. Kid-friendliness: They had a cornhole game set up behind the restaurant.
Food was delicious but could have been served warmer. Service was somewhat slow although the place was packed. Atmosphere was no frills except for patio dining by the lake.
Boathouse has great food and great view. They were very busy Saturday so a little wait but food came out in good time.
