Tacos Jalisco Mexican Taqueria

How have I not reviewed tacos Jalisco?! This is one of my partners and I favorite spots in town. First of all, we love their staff! We also love the salsa they serve with the chips, it's so refreshing and delicious every time. We typically order a cheese dip and margaritas every time and they're super quick to get that out. Our go to meals is the enchiladas verdes and the chile rellano, and we always order a side of their grilled onions (and sometimes add the peppers too). The side of mix onions is a huge portion of soft/grilled onions and their perfect to add the cheese dip and to mix with our entrees. They cost just a couple and totally elevate the meal! I may or may not have called ahead and ordered the grilled onions only to go before.

This is a pretty standard Mexican restaurant, with typical decor and the usual menu items. That being said, they use mozzarella cheese in a lot of their dishes. This was new to me, and I found it very odd. I've eaten here twice, with different results. I got the enchiladas on my first visit, which were fairly good in quality and quantity. On my second visit, I went for the steak ranchero, which was just plain bad. Given the price, I didn't expect them to use an expensive cut of meat. What they served me, however, was mostly gristle with a few bites of steak that were very tough and stringy. Bottom line: Stick with the combination plates, if you don't mind mozzarella with your Mexican. If you do mind, I would go elsewhere.

Great authentic mexican food! The service was excellent. Everyone was really nice. We had a party of 9 so they moved a few tables together and sat us quickly. They give you chips and salsa on the house. The salsa didn't do it for me, but the chips were good. Their queso was really nice and creamy. Everyone ordered a variety of items from tacos, burritos, tostadas, and nachos. I ordered the fajitas vegetable burritos and it was delicious!!! This is definitely one for my vegan and vegetarian friends. So flavorful and seasoned to perfection. Overall everything was good. The family seems to like it. This is your good ole feel good Mexican food hole in the wall.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in town and now they serve Liquor!!! Don't sleep on this place as both food and service are great! It looks like a complete hole in the wall shopping center Mexican joint but is so much more! All the food is delicious and served with smiles...go get you some good people of Yelp

Such a great, hole in the wall taco joint! The food was authentic and very fresh. They have an outdoor area and good parking! Very reasonable prices and margaritas are on point! The staff treat you like family and very accommodating!
