Positano - Asheboro

We love positanos. Eat is excellent and we were recently there celebrating the 90th birthday of my mother with friends and family. everyone enjoyed their meal and we had a great time. service was fantastic.

Excellent food but sitting by the door on a cold day negates that somewhat.

The greeter/hostess was not friendly and was on the phone when dealing with our party. Our server was pretty attentive and helpful. The food was FANTASTIC!

Our waitress was unfamiliar with what drinks where available, and was even more unfamiliar with the menu. My dinner was incorrect, to what I ordered (actually not even close), but because I’ve eaten there before I knew the meal would still be good......not to mention that I didn’t want the other three that I was dining with to be uncomfortable with having to wait for me to get the correct meal.

Our experience here was not good. The Calamari is TERRIBLE and pizza is just ok. Our service wasn't good either. We got no flatware/napkins and had to get up (from our little children) to find them themselves (2x). Not a dirty dish or a cup was removed from the table before our main dinner arrived, so we ate at a dirty table. Our appetizer came to the table last time. No beverage refills. Then I sat at a dirty table and waited for the check while my family went out because they were tired of waiting around. The waitress also seemed to be host, and it seemed no front of housekeeping or even some kind of manager. Wouldn't come back here.
