World Of Beer - Ashburn

First time visiting this bar/restaurant. Went there with wife and friend for happy hour, 4pm 7pm. Beer and food were great. The service could've been better. Our first server Bridgette explained to us that the craft beer of the month that applied for the happy hour was Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager. Cool. So we went with that. Around 5pm she asks us to close our tab with her because she is leaving and the next bartender, Miles, was going to serve us. Fine, no problem. Paid our bill and open a new tab with Miles. We order food and more of the same drinks with Miles for happy hour. When we closed our tab, Miles charges us regular price for the Devil's backbone. I ask him if there was a mistake because Bridgette told us and charged us happy hour price for the same beer. Miles replies that the craft beer for happy hour is Satan's Brew (don't remember the specific name). He says it the same beer as the Devils backbone and that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Bad customer service. I paid my full price because I had already consumed my drinks and it wasn't going to break my wallet. However, it is not cool that one bartender serves drinks at one price and the other serves differently. Especially when we were there the whole 3 hrs spending buying multiple rounds of beer and food. Not just having one drink and talking bs like many others do. Lost my business.

Pro Tip: Monday all day special is $5 for burgers and chips. The house IPA is also $3 every day! Large relaxed atmosphere inside and a huge selection of beer. One of their specialties is the ability to order a crowder “Can you get your own beer and get it canned”. You need to order 2 pints to get it.

WOB has become me. Amazing for learning about beer and a competent staff! Santa Fe Burger or the chicken nachos are so good! You can even tap your fav to take home!

One of my big breweries in Loudoun. They have a wide selection of fresh beers and have a large tape room with tons of free space for large parties. They also have a wide range of foods. It is also fantastic place to enjoy sports. Staff here are friendly and they are trying to initiate a nice conversation. It's good to get out of here again. I will definitely recommend this place. Visits with the children to meet their late night holiday with their favorite German Brezel with cheese!! The hummus was okay. The other Veg article we love is their flat bread.
