Capitoline - Asbury Park

The artichoke hearts were the best I've had in a long time. There weren't many options for vegans, but my brother said the meatballs were fantastic. Our waitress was very nice and helpful, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect. We were looking for something between a traditional Italian restaurant and a fast pizzeria, and this place nailed it.

The meatballs, sausage and pan pizza were all top notch. The only thing better was the service and engagement from our server, Alex. He was the best. Love this spot. Can't wait to go back.

I had the best gluten free pizza I?ve had in years here. The price was reasonable, the food was good, the service was adequate, and the atmosphere was interesting. I had a little trouble finding it, so hopefully I can add more info to make it easier for you ? I?m updating with pics so you know what you?re looking for and don?t drive around the block repeatedly like I did. My second visit was also good.

Excellent service by Allesandra along with fantastic food and very affordable prices make this a top rated pick. The restaurant is very casual, it has a bar with some other lowest drink prices in town and the servings are more than filling. If you are looking for a place to relax, do some people watching as you eat and not have to max out your account, this is it. Back for the third time. Service is still excellent, food is just as good as can be and the vibes keep coming.

Absolutely amazing! Our server was great and the food was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try other dishes. The brussel sprouts were the best I ever had, and the mushroom pizza was so tasteful.
