Restaurant bewertenIt has been some time sinc our last review. We know the menu well and enjoy the salmon special with creative sauce presentation. My wife's fish and chip's had a marvelous light batter which was a nice compliment to the perfecttly done fresh cod. Patio dining in the summer is always the best. If you want more noise and energy go on Wednesday's when Jimmy Stadler palys.
I would say that great service, food and ambience are Sobroso's signature offerings. My wife and I recently enjoyed dinner on Sobroso's wonderful outdoor patio featuring a lively bar and one of the best country western musicians in a restaurant venue. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the maitre' d and promptly seated. Thanks to our server, Vanessa, who helped make our Saturday night supper more special with her friendly and attentive service. We ordered the seasonal spinach salad, a wonderful New Mexico filet, and one of the best carrot cakes for dessert...all of which was accompanied by a nice bottle of Zinfandel. Servings were plentiful and very well prepared. Kudos to team Sabroso!
Dined al fresco on a quiet patio with wonderful live music. Food was delicious and the freshly squeezed margaritas were quite refreshing! That being mentioned, we only encountered one employee who had a friendly demeanor. Not sure if it was due to short staffing, which is the case across the country nowadays, or if it’s poor training, which is also the case anymore. Nonetheless, we received our drinks and food in a timely manner and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the patio. Will definitely come back.
The crab cakes were over cooked. They were redone and were better but overall not a good choice. They just were not enjoyable. The wedge salad for $11 was so small. It was like an appetizer portion or small plate.
Our favorite evening spot in Taos County. Food, service from staff, music, and ambiance always wonderful!
